Details of upcoming Study Clubs are outlined below :

            Title: ‘Managing facial deformity’

            Speaker: Dr Claire Nightingale

            Location: 21 Devonshire Street London W1G 6PB

Claire will be looking at the different skeletal patterns in three plane of space, the consequence on facial appearance and occlusion and how resulting deformity can be managed by the orthognathic team.

Title: ‘New dimensions in endodontic imagery – Cone Beam CT’

            Speaker: Dr Shanon Patel

            Location: 45 Wimpole Street London W1G 8SB

Shanon has been working with cone beam CT scanners as part of his endodontic practice at 45 Wimpole Street for a number of years and will demonstrate its practical applications.

            Title: ‘Emerging profiles’

            Speaker: Dr Tom Bereznicki

A clinical technique to duplicate a created emergence profile.

Frustrated by the appearance and loss of soft tissue form around bridgework pontics and implant restorations, Tom has devised a very clever technique to reproduce emergence profile.

            Title: ‘Current advances in CADCAM based restorations’

            Speaker: Dr Dina Dedi

            Location: 57a Wimpole Street London W1G 8YP

Participants will have the opportunity to attend a presentation on CAD-CAM based restorations and their indications and potential in clinical practice, through an interdisciplinary case-based approach.

Dina and her periodontist colleague Dr. Richard Tucker will show several cases on anterior rehabilitation where CAD/CAM technology was used. The lecture will be followed by a mini hands on workshop on the 3M Intra-Oral Scanner.
